CheckNaval is based in San Fernando, Cádiz Bay. Close by important strategically
located ports in South Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
CheckNaval’s independence provides flexibility, exemplified by our ability to attend global engagements at short notice, ensuring timely responses to client needs and changing market conditions. CheckNaval's key values includes Trustworthiness, job consistency and loyalty to the client, always maintaining due confidentiality.
In English, the word ‘naval’ is connected to the navy. However, in Spanish its first
meaning is ‘pertaining to or relating to ships and navigation’. ‘Check’ is to make sure
that something is correct, safe and suitable. Both words together symbolize what
this project is all about. The logo includes the CheckNaval initials framed on a
compass rose.

25 years of professional maritime background
25 years of professional maritime background. My seagoing experience includes 19 years on LNG tankers, serving in leading companies operating in the most demanding traffics.
I was a teacherfor 5 years at an official maritime vocational training center, providing STCW certificates for Captains up to 1,600 GT and Chief Engineers up to 6,000 Kw. My teaching experience also includes STCW courses in the private sector.
I was involved as well in NAVANTIA Avante 2200 project as sea trial 1st Officer and Master and attending as Master internal berth shifting within the newbuilding facilities in NAVANTIA San Fernando. Currently, I am providing services as Dock Master in the refitting facilities of NAVANTIA in Cádiz and San Fernando supporting the in-house Dock Master.
