About me
25 years of professional maritime background
My seagoing experience includes 19 years on LNG tankers, serving in leading companies operating in the most demanding traffics. During this time, I developed advanced skills and knowledge in the management and operation of these specialized vessels, always ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency.
I was an instructor for 5 years at an official maritime vocational training center, providing STCW certificates for Captains up to 1,600 GT and Chief Engineers up to 6,000 kW. My teaching experience also includes conducting STCW courses in the private sector, where I trained numerous professionals in essential techniques and procedures for safe and effective ship operations.
In addition, I was involved in the NAVANTIA Avante 2200 project as sea trial 1st Officer and Master, attending internal berth shifting maneuvers within the newbuilding facilities at NAVANTIA San Fernando. Currently, I am providing services as Dock Master at the refitting and newbuilding facilities of NAVANTIA in Cádiz, San Fernando and Puerto Real, supporting the in-house Dock Masters in their crucial and strategic responsibilities for the successful operation of the shipyards in the Bay of Cadiz.
The CheckNaval project aims to utilize 25 years of experience to offer freelance services as a marine surveyor and ISM compliance consultant, along with dock master duties, compass adjustment, and training services.
My career has been marked by a constant dedication to excellence and the development of competencies. I have worked with multidisciplinary teams, facing technical and logistical challenges with professionalism and adaptability. My objective is to contribute to the maritime sector by applying my experience and knowledge to promote safe practices, ensure smooth operations and achieve full compliance.
